By simple external adjustment, the bowl may be moved laterally back and forth over the drainage screen surface thereby establishing the best choice of screen exposure for optimum liquid removal and the achievement of desired product dryness. Positioning of the bowl is easily accomplished by rotation of an external adjustment mechanism.

High centrifugal force combined with a superior basket design and proven heavy duty 3 point suspension result in optimum performance and exceptionally smooth operation.
- Labor Saving - High Capacity Design: With a view toward minimizing time and manpower associated with batch wringing of chips and turnings, National offers three generously sized, high capacity wringers having basket diameters of 40" (1000mm), 48" (1200mm) and 60" (1500mm). Frequently, one or two Timesavers can replace several smaller wringers, thereby releasing operators for revenue generating productive work while also freeing valuable floor space for other uses.
- Easy to Load and Unload: High volume Timesaver baskets make the loading of chips or long, curly turnings an easy task and reduce the likelihood of spillage when transferring chips from collection boxes. We can also provide overhead hoist accessories to assist with loading and unloading.
- Complete Turnkey Systems Available: National provides the widest possible range of supply - from individual chip wringers to complete systems including shredding, crushing, parts separation, separation of metals of different types, chip collection and conveying systems, chip storage bins, automated chip load out systems, extrusion presses for dewatering grinding swarf (sludge) and consulting services. - Exclusive 3 Point Suspension Provides Exceptionally Smooth Operation: The National-Rousselet advanced 3 point suspension freely suspends the unit's outer casing and related parts from three cast steel pedestals. The 3 point suspension points are in a plane which passes through the center of gravity of the rotating basket and its load. This superior design allows the rotating mass to quickly establish its own center of gyration. Bearing loads are reduced; transmission of vibration to the floor is virtually eliminated - resulting in exceptionally smooth machine operation.
- Efficient Basket Design: The timesaver chip wringer basket is designed for the optimium use of centrifugal force as a means to release cutting fluids from the chip load. The National-Rousselet Timesaver wringer straight-wall basket design permits the application of the maximum developed centrifugal force consistently along the entire outer wall of the basket. Other chip wringers fitted with semi-conical baskets having a small radius at the bottom result in the centrifugal force acting on the chip mass being largely ineffective in the region.
- Controlled Acceleration/Smooth Braking: National-Rousselet chip wringers are fitted with state of the art electrical controls including an inverter, which provides optimum control over "ramp up" time (acceleration), rotational speed coolant extraction phase) and braking time. We can supply electrical controls that are compatible with your preferred plant standards.
- Rugged Construction; Easy to Maintain: Heavy cast steel and carbon steel construction. Stainless steel option also available. Precision machined spindle is supported with heavy duty roller bearings. Directly accessible grease fittings simplify lubrication. Outboard motor location is preferred by operators over other designs having a hidden motor.
- Safety Provisions: All moving parts are properly guarded. The lid has a safety interlock preventing machine operation unless properly clamped. Lid cannot be opened while machine is running. Emergency stop button and running lights also provided.
